Pink slips (eSafety checks) in Gosford
If your car is more than five years old, you need a pink slip every year to renew your NSW rego. Your renewal notice will tell you if it’s due.
We’re an Authorised Inspection Station for cars, motorcycles and trailers, so your result goes straight to Transport for NSW electronically. No paper to lose, and you can renew your rego online the same day.
What we check:
- Brakes and suspension
- Tyres and wheels
- Steering
- Lights, indicators and horn
- Windscreen, wipers and mirrors
- Seatbelts
- Body and chassis for rust or damage
- Oil, fuel and exhaust leaks
What it costs:
A light vehicle pink slip is $52. No call-out fees, no surprises. Wait while we do it, or take our loan car and get on with your day. Bookings are essential.
If something fails:
We’ll show you what failed and why, and give you an honest quote to fix it. You’re not locked in. If it’s fixed within 14 days and brought back to us, the re-check costs nothing extra.
Good to know:
- Your pink slip is valid for 6 months, so you don’t have to leave it until the last week
- The 5 years counts from the date on your car’s compliance plate
- Pensioner discount available
- We don’t do blue slips (unregistered or interstate vehicles) or engineering certificates. Ask us and we’ll point you to someone local who does.

Logbook Servicing
Logbook servicing – keep your new car warranty
Just driven out of the dealership? You don’t have to go back there for servicing.
Under Australian Consumer Law, any qualified mechanic can service your new car and stamp the logbook, as long as the service follows the manufacturer’s schedule and uses quality parts. Your manufacturer’s warranty stays valid. You’ll get the same logbook service, done by people who know your name, at a fair local price.
What’s in a Sojos logbook service
- Every item on your manufacturer’s schedule for that kilometre or time interval
- Genuine or equivalent-quality parts, oils and filters to manufacturer spec
- Logbook stamped and signed, and your digital service record updated
- A full safety check while it’s on the hoist
- A straight answer on anything that’s coming up, so there are no surprises next time
- If we find a fault that should be fixed under warranty, we’ll tell you, so you can take it back to the dealer.
[A note on extended warranties
Most new car warranties are covered. Some dealer-sold extended warranties or service plans have their own conditions. We’ll always tell you upfront whether we can service your car under yours.
